Design for Manufacture Workshop Hosted by FTG Circuits

August 13-14, 2007

Instructed by Dieter Bergman, IPC & Richard Snogren, Bristlecone, LLC

This workshop will acquaint designers with increasingly sophisticated PCB fabrication technologies. The course will address trade-offs for designs that have both through hole and surface mount components; the differences between rigid and flexible printed boards; and the tolerance characteristics that make sense using the capabilities of today's manufacturing equipment.

OEMs, fabricators, and PCB designers are all working to optimize their products and processes for lead free and design production. The best way for companies to stay on top of the game is to educate their designers. Let's face it; a successful PC board starts with the designer.
